Speakers
Grace Parker is a Mendenhall Postdoctoral Fellow at the U.S. Geological Survey Earthquake Science Center. Her current work focuses on the characterization of earthquake ground motion and the associated uncertainty for application to earthquake early warning systems. She holds a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering (2018) and a B.S. in Applied Geophysics (2014) from the University of California, Los Angeles.

As President of ENGEO, Uri promotes technical excellence and extraordinary client service throughout the firm. Under his leadership, ENGEO has become a consultant of choice for master-planned, mixed-use development, large-scale earthwork, transportation, urban infill, waterfront development, industrial sites and military bases. Uri is a registered Geotechnical Engineer in California and a registered Civil Engineer in California and Nevada. He is a Founding Director of the California Association of Geologic Hazard Abatement Districts (GHADs) and is its current President.

As Vice President of Shannon & Wilson, Travis brings extensive earthquake engineering experience, including site-specific response analyses, slope stability analyses, liquefaction analyses, and retrofitting and mitigation evaluations. He has completed building design and construction services for commercial and residential developments, educational, military, industrial and municipal facilities. In addition, he has completed forensic studies on distressed structures including bridge, embankment/levee, slope and wall failures. Travis has also completed support for environmental studies, preliminary engineering and third-party reviews for proposed transit projects in the Seattle and Los Angeles metropolitan areas, including evaluating various tunneling methods.
